I just love the fact that the wall mounted coat rack today is just more than pegs on a piece of pinewood. I think the days are gone when people just think of coat racks as something we have seen perhaps when we went around to our grandparents and in the foyer was this huge dark wood piece of furniture which housed anything from umbrellas, hats, canes and coats. The one that I remember as a child had a large mirror in the centre of it as well.

Wow, it’s pretty rare to see someone put things into perspective the way you just did. I wish that other bloggers and people that post content to the web would take a page from your book! Do you have any other sites that I could visit or could you possibly make a recommendation as to where I might be able to find some more information? Either way, thanks for an excellent resource and I look forward to being a repeat reader!

I think having a low level colorful coat rack is a great idea for the kids room. Having said that I could do with a coat rack at the entrance to my home as well. Especially now in the winter when guests come in from the cold. I have a hand made coat rank that is very sentimental and we leave it in the study for hats!
